The term actually derives from the days when tailors would literally carry trunks of fabrics, swatches, and other materials while traveling the world to fulfill their clients’ wardrobe demands.
In modern days, it’s a traveling pop-up where a tailor brings the full made-to-measure experience: measuring, fabric selection, styling — to a city where they don’t have a permanent shop.

What actually happens, step by step
Booking the appointment — You can book an appointment with us via email, phone, social media, WhatsApp, or through our website.
The measuring session — Chest, waist, shoulders, sleeve length, and everything else that needs measuring is handled by a professional who’s been in the business for over 45 years. Sessions run no more than 30 minutes, but clients are always welcome to stay, enjoy our complimentary drinks, and look through our products.
Fabric and style selection — We bring samples, swatches, finished products, and photos from previous satisfied clients. Our range includes silk, wool, merino wool, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, linen, cotton, and various blends. You’re also welcome to bring a well-fitting garment for us to replicate.
Order confirmation — The customer walks away with an order form confirming their deposit and an expected delivery date for their products.
Production and delivery — You can expect your product within 1–2 months.
If something needs adjusting — If there’s an issue with your order, simply let us know and we’ll fix it. Send the product back to us by mail, and we’ll make the adjustment and mail it back to you.
